| Sir Knight Robert Phillip Winterhalter, REPDC, was the driving force behind the approval and adoption of the summer uniform enjoyed by so many fellow Sir Knights. Sir Knight Winterhalter began selling summer uniforms as a fundraiser for the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, or KTEF, and was personally responsible for donating over $50,000 to the KTEF prior to his death in 2010.
